the fox!        

People knew two girls by their family names Banford and march.they lived on bailey farm together.                                                                                                                                             

Banford was often ill.march did most of the work on the farm. They had a lot of chickens

On the farm.march wore mens trousers and movid like a man.but her face was not a man

Face. there was danger on the old farm. A fox !the fox ate the chickens. The girls tried to kill

The fox. Sometimes they saw his head or his tail but they never caght him.

On evening in august suddenly march saw the fox quite near her.

He was goe like the wind. "I must find him" she said.march dinner suddenly said to banford : fox was at my feet on Saturday night.the

Did you kill him? Banford asked.

No march answered. It was very sudden. He wasn’t afrid of me. Weeks and months went past.

One dark evening in autumn the door opened. Amans voice said quietly "hello" what do you want? She asked angrily.                                                                                                                          

Im looking for my grand father.he lived here five years ago too the young man said                  

I was in Canada .I went there four years ago. I came back last week.                                            

Banford liked him very mush.he helped with the farm work he liked to kill animals.              

Banford was quite angry with henry. But she did not know why.she did not like to look at him.

He put his hand on her arm.he kissed her face. henry took the dead fox by the tail showed   

It to march. The fox was beautiful.                                                                                                       

Henry back to Canada.Banford started to cry. She cried and cried like a child. After a long time

Henry took her hands .things are going to be better for you in Canada he said.
